Mowbray falls consists of many cascading falls down towards Port Douglas region, this a very easy walk taking around an hour once you set off on foot. There is one steep section right at the end as you walk down the ridge to the creek.
Getting there: Drive towards Julatten and turn onto Euluma Creek road, it doesn't matter whether you are coming from the coastal road up from Mossman or inland from Mareeba as the road wraps around. You will then come to Black Mountain Road turn onto here and follow the road for about 6.5km. You will arrive at the start of the Bump Track, this track is for downhill bike riding.
The track to Mowbray falls now begins, walk along the Bump track for for just over 1.3km, the track you are looking for turns off to the left into the bush, there is some pink tape on the trees showing the entrance to the track. If you miss this track and get to a creek crossing you have gone to far, turn around and back track looking now on your right for an entrance with ribbon on the trees. You will know you are on the right track as a few 100m along you will run into a sign saying beware of cliff edges.
The trail from the Bump Track is about 1.7km you will cross over 2-3 creeks on your way to the main creek the falls are on. Once you have arrived at the main creek (you will know which one I'm talking about when you get there) head downstream, here you will be greeted by a set of falls and a view out to the ocean with amazing rock formations on the cliff edge.
