Kearney Falls

Goldsborough Valley hosts a variety of things to do whether its camping, cycling, hiking, kayaking or going for a fish it is all possible here.
Kearney's falls are only 850m from the camping area, with a very good clear trail. The walk has some steep parts where steps have been created but otherwise this walk is fairly easy.

For the more adventurous, where danger escalates dramatically, you can jump or go under the boardwalk rail at the end, here the adventure really begins.
The walk up the waterfall continues upwards along the path you choose is best for you, on the way up there are several small parts where you can swim before the water drops off over the next lot of rocks. The higher you go the better the view gets over the valley pushing you to endeavour higher and higher.

After climbing several series of water falls and rock you will get to the base of almost a vertical wall of rock (very top picture). I advise not trying to climb this as there are many slippery parts and nothing to stop you on the fall down. However if you're like me and always have to know whats at the very top the adventure must go on. I found the best way to go was up the right side, this involves traversing a lot of shrubbery and bushes until you can eventually climb out and along the rock wall, after about 30minutes of climbing through the bush and further up the rock which sits at about 60 degrees I decided to not go anywhere higher, as I didn't set out to climb any of this so was unprepared.
