You will see a path leading into the bush. You will be able to follow this path for about 300-400m before it begins to disappear. Keep following the river before for about 200m then head right where you will meet up with an old car track. Follow this road for 600m where you will arrive at a water tank.

From here on the left you will see a small path heading up the mountain. This isn’t a very used track with a few routes going off in different directions, keep your wits and follow the main track up the mountain. You will climb the hill for about 200m where you will notice you are now on the ridge, here you will get slight views out to the ocean, and down the other side of the hill you walked up is a small stream. Follow the ridge up the mountain for 200m where you will be greeted by a crystal clear stream running down the rocky slope of the mountain, there are a few rock cairns along the track to make sure you are on the correct path.
